6.3.D. - Page 7 <br />Given the relatively limited area covered by the proposed time limit, the Police <br />Department will enforce the time limits with existing staff resources. Once established, <br />RPP areas are typically enforced on a complaint basis. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Council may choose to not adopt the proposed Resolution, leaving the neighborhood <br />with no parking time limits, as is the case today. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The cost to install the parking signs and to purchase new permits should be less than <br />$15,000 and would be paid from the General Fund operating budget. Planned <br />enforcement will be periodic and use existing budgeted resources.
