Premises Identification (Address Numbers) - Indicate on the plans where the premises identification (address) will be located and the size in a contrasting background facing the street from which the building takes the address CFC 505. 66. Portable Fire Extinguishers Required - Portable fire extinguishers, with a minimum classification of 2A:1OBC are required to be permanently installed in the common areas within 75 feet of travel from all portions of the buildings in compliance with NFPA 10 and CFC 906. Carbon Monoxide Alarms Required - Single or multiple station carbon monoxide alarms are required in all residential occupancies where fuel-burning appliances are installed or that have an attached garage CBC 915.1. Emergency Escape and Rescue Openings - All sleeping rooms shall be provided with emergency escape and rescue openings in accordance with CBC 1030. Confirm the design of the project includes compliant openings and those openings have ladder access for use by the fire department in an emergency. [SDR][FIRE] 70. Aerial Fire Apparatus Access Lane - For access to structures on-site, which exceed 30 feet in height, the width of any required aerial fire apparatus access lane(s) shall comply with California Fire Code Section D105.2. Public Alley Access – Entire public alley abutting project site adjacent to “Building C” shall be required to meet standards for aerial fire apparatus access, including minimum width, weight load-bearing capacity, and minimum slope requirements for aerial fire apparatus access. No Parking Along Alley – At no time shall any vehicle park on or along the public alley adjacent to the site. “No Parking” signage shall be installed along the alley in accordance with Engineering and Fire standards. Driveway Weight-Load Bearing – Any required fire access road or fire apparatus access roads on-site shall meet weight load-bearing capacity requirements in accordance with Engineering and Fire standards. Emergency Vehicle Access Easement – All driveways leading from the public alley to “Building C” within any required aerial fire apparatus access lane shall require an Emergency Vehicle Access Easement. Voluntary Community Outreach – The Applicant has agreed to hold a minimum of two community outreach meetings, attended by City staff, with an expanded public notice radius greater than 300 feet from the project site to the satisfaction of the Planning Manager.
