We are asking for a unit price per ton. <br />2) Item #3: Material/Asphalt Hot Mix: 1/2" and Item #4 Material/Asphalt Hot Mix: 1/2" Medium — <br />Is this the same? <br />RESPONSE: For Attachment A Item 3, Material/Asphalt Hot Mix, 1/2" and Item 4, <br />Material/Asphalt Hot Mix 1/2" are the same item. <br />3) Signature for Bidder: We are a company, not a corporation or Partnership. Who has to sign this? <br />RESPONSE: For Attachment B, anyone that has authority to respond to the bid request (signing <br />authority) can sign. <br />4) May I as the contact person? <br />RESPONSE: If you have authority to respond to a bid request, or signing authority for your <br />company, yes. <br />5) Which countries are eligible to participate in this tender? <br />RESPONSE: The City of Redwood City is seeking asphalt aggregates materials. Anyone can <br />participate in this tender if the materials are within close proximity. Hot asphalt/asphalt <br />products will be picked up from the plant by City vehicles and/or contract trucking. <br />6) Information about the tendering procedure and guidelines <br />RESPONSE: Please refer to the Notice Inviting Bids (NIB) for procedures and guidelines. <br />7) For Attachment A Item 1, Are we to put the min -max numbers? <br />RESPONSE: Yes, please, if there is a minimum/maximum number. If no min/max is necessary, <br />please respond with the Unit Measure and the Unit Price. <br />
