NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE PORT <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct, are hereby incorporated <br />herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety, and constitute findings in this <br />matter. <br />Section 2. The Port will install the Liveaboard Improvements described in <br />Exhibit A to support liveaboards residing at the Municipal Marina. <br />Section 3. In making the Liveaboard Improvements, the Port will keep fully <br />informed of all federal, state and local laws and ordinances and regulations which in any <br />manner affect the Liveaboard Improvements and will at all times observe and comply with <br />those laws, ordinances, and regulations. <br />Section 4. The Port intends to complete the Liveaboard Improvements by <br />December 31, 2018, subject to unavoidable delays due to circumstances beyond the <br />Port's control or as required by sound practices. <br />Section 5. During construction of the Liveaboard Improvements, live -aboard <br />boat residents will enjoy sufficient amenities at the Municipal Marina and other facilities <br />nearby. <br />Section 5. The Port will keep and maintain accurate records of costs and <br />expenses related to the making of the Liveaboard Improvements and said records will be <br />available to City for review and copying during regular business hours at the Port's offices <br />or as otherwise agreed upon. <br />Section 6. The City's contribution of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars <br />($400,000) to the Port for the total costs of the Liveaboard Improvements will be credited <br />against the Port's Fiscal Year 2017-2018 subvention payment to the City. <br />This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption by the City Council <br />of the City of Redwood City and the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br />Joint City/Port Resolution Joint City RESO NO. 15697 <br />FXS Adopted 08/27/18 <br />Page 2 of 4 Reso P-2386 <br />
