MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />September 10. 2018 <br />MO. 18-162 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: September 11, 2018 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />**hard copy available upon request"* <br />SUBJECT: General Services Agreement for on-call, as needed closed-circuit <br />television inspection services for sanitary sewer and storm drain <br />pipelines with National Plant Services, Inc. <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1E (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on September 10, 2018. <br />Present: Council Members, Aguirre, Borgens, Howard, Masur, Seybert, and Mayor Bain <br />Motion and second (Aguirre/Masur) to approve all items on the Consent Calendar, excluding <br />items 6.1.1 and 6.3.6. <br />By motion, to approve, and authorize City Manager to execute, a two-year Agreement with <br />National Plant Services, Inc. of Long Beach, CA for closed circuit television sanitary sewer <br />and storm drain inspection services for an amount not to exceed $450,000.00 on an on-call, <br />as -needed basis, and authorize the City Manager to extend the Agreement for two additional <br />periods of six months in the amount of $50,000 for each six month period, by written <br />amendment, indicating the effective date and length of the extended Agreement, and based <br />upon a satisfactory review of the Consultant's performance, City's needs, and an <br />appropriation of funds by the City, for a total amount of $550,000, and find that the project is <br />exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines <br />Section 15301 (Existing Facilities). <br />The motion passes 6-0 by electronic vote, with Councilmember Gee absent. <br />Pamela Aguilar, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />
