does not assume City's environmental responsibilities described at 24 CFR 570.604; and <br />(ii) Subrecipient does not assume City's responsibility for initiating the review process <br />under the provisions of 24 CFR part 52. <br />20. NON-DISCRIMINATION AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. Subrecipient warrants <br />and agrees it will not discriminate against any persons seeking services or employment <br />under this agreement because of their age (except upon the basis of bona fide <br />occupational qualification, retirement plan or statutory requirement), disability, familial <br />status, race, color, religion, sex or national origin in the provision of services or extension <br />of employment opportunities under the Agreement. Subrecipient further warrants and <br />agrees that it will comply with all relevant local, state and federal non-discrimination <br />ordinances, statutes, and regulations pertaining to non-discrimination and equal <br />opportunity, including but not limited to, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as <br />amended, Title Vlll of the Civil Rights act of 1968 as amended, Section 104(b) and <br />Section 109 of Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 as <br />amended, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, The Americans with Disabilities <br />Act of 1990, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Executive Order 11063, as amended by <br />Executive Order 12259, and Executive Order 11246 as amended by Executive Orders <br />11375, 11478, 12086, 12106, 13087, 13152, and 13672. Subrecipient will include a <br />statement that it is an equal opportunity employer in all solicitations or advertisements for <br />subcontractors or employees. <br />21. INTEREST OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS. No covered persons who exercise any <br />function or responsibility with respect to this Agreement or Subrecipient's Project during <br />his or her tenure, or for one year thereafter, will have any interest, direct or indirect, in <br />this Agreement or a related subcontract, or the proceeds thereof.
