Subrecipient certifies and agrees that no contractual or other legal incapacity exists that would prevent compliance with these requirements. 26. GENERAL COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS. Subrecipient will keep fully informed of federal, state and local laws and ordinances and regulations which in any manner affect those employed by Subrecipient, or in any way affect the Project by Subrecipient. 27. LEAD-BASED PAINT. The use of lead-based paint is prohibited. In the event lead-based paint is found on residential property, appropriate abatement procedures may be required by City. 28. NOTICES. JURISDICTIONS AND VENUE. Any action at law or in equity brought by either of the Parties for the purpose of enforcing a right or rights provided for by this Agreement will be tried in a court of competent jurisdiction in the County of San Mateo, State of Califomia, and the Parties waive all provisions of law providing for a change of venue in these proceedings to any other county. 30. SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS. It is mutually understood and agreed that this Agreement will be binding upon City and Subrecipient and their respective successors.
