I N E SSE I H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 3,1000, County-may <br />contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for <br />County or any Department thereof; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that Contractor be retained for the <br />purpose of providing Differential Response services. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Agreement on January 1, 2006 wherein <br />the City of Redwood City, as fiscal agent for Redwood City 2020, agreed to provide <br />Differential Responses to Path One and Path Two families in Redwood City for the <br />term of January 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008 for a maximum payment amount of <br />$907,537; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement for Contractor to hire, <br />train and supervise one Mental Health Clinician to work with Differential Response <br />Team in Redwood City and to add $100,000 for FY 2005-08, for a new total maximum <br />obligation of $1,007,537 and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />068, f~: ::.'- <br />u'Li . <br />
