<br />6-3A <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY ESTABLISHING MAY 1, 2006, AS <br />THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENTS TO SECTIONS <br />20.96 THROUGH 20.96.21 OF CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE VII, <br />OF THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, AS <br />ADOPTED ON JULY 25, 2005 <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 25, 2005, the City Council of the City of Redwood City did <br />adopt amendments to Sections 20.96 through 20.96.21 of Chapter 20, Article VII of the <br />Redwood City Municipal Code, hereinafter referred to as the "Amendments"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the date of the adoption of said Amendments, the date such <br />Amendments were to go into effect was identified as February 1 , 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the "On Broadway" retail/cinema project in Downtown Redwood City <br />will increase parking demand. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On Broadway will be completed no earlier than May 1, 2006. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY THAT: <br /> <br />1.
