08/26/02 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14464 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH CITY ATTORNEY <br />STAN T. YAMAMOTO <br />WHEREAS, on July 30, 2001, the City of Redwood City (the "City ") entered into <br />an Employment Agreement (the "Agreement') with Stan Yamamoto ( "Employee ") for <br />City Attorney services; and <br />WHEREAS, among other things, the Agreement provides for reimbursement of <br />rental costs associated with temporary housing in the City for Employee and /or his <br />family; and <br />WHEREAS, Employee has recently sold his home in Southern California, and to <br />allow his daughter to register for the upcoming school year, Employee was required to <br />quickly locate temporary housing and was unable to confine his housing search to <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to allow Employee to be <br />reimbursed for temporary housing in San Mateo or Santa Clara counties. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the First Amendment to City Attorney Employment Agreement is hereby <br />approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute the First Amendment on <br />behalf of the City. <br />F:Atty /Reso /Reso.1328 <br />081302 <br />
