EXHIBIT A <br />PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK. DELIVERABLES. DEADLINE <br />AND PAYMENT TERMS <br />Description <br />Closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection of, and cleaning for that purpose, sanitary sewer <br />and/or storm drain pipelines on an on-call, as -needed basis for various City approved projects <br />and tasks. <br />SCOPE OF WORK: <br />The scope of work described herein is the minimum necessary to meet the City's objectives. The <br />Contractor is expected to expand on the scope by incorporating their expertise and proposed <br />method of approach. <br />The scope of work for the project shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, and <br />equipment necessary to clean the sanitary sewer and/or storm drain pipelines, inspect manholes <br />and provide a closed- circuit television inspection in digital format of the sanitary sewer and/or <br />storm drain pipelines listed above. The word "clean" is defined as the removal of all <br />accumulations including sludge, dirt, sand, rocks, grease, roots, and other solid or semisolid <br />material in the pipe and manhole. <br />Cleaning <br />The Contractor shall perform a minimum of two (2) passes using the high -velocity hydraulic <br />cleaning method. The Contractor shall clean the line until the line is ready for closed-circuit <br />television inspection that's acceptable to City. No additional compensation will be made to the <br />Contractor in performing three or more passes in cleaning the sewer and/or storm drain pipelines. <br />All pipe cleaning cost method and duration shall be included in the agreed cost irrespective of <br />the type and size of the existing sewer and or storm drain pipelines. If a video and/or the capture <br />images in the database do not clearly show the pipe conditions due to inadequate clean-up or are <br />of such poor quality that the Engineer is unable to evaluate the condition of the sewer and or <br />storm drain pipelines or locate sewer service connections, the Contractor shall re -televise that <br />section of the pipe at Contractor's expense. <br />The Contractor shall protect the manholes to withstand forces generated by equipment, water, <br />and air pressure. The Contractor shall clean the sewer and/or storm drain pipelines of any <br />obstruction and debris including roots in accordance with the City's Engineering Standard <br />Technical Specifications Section 02732, "Cleaning And Closed Circuit TV Inspection of <br />Sanitary Sewer Pipe" and "Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Green <br />book)", latest edition. <br />Contractor shall use a jet/vacuum combination unit for cleaning all sewer and/or storm drain <br />pipelines.
