Parents/caregivers partnered on Community Mobilization Teams to Community <br />powerfully support and amplify family engagement efforts at schools and Mobilization <br />community sites including Taft, Hoover, McKinley Institute of Technology, and <br />the Redwood City Public Library. Teams <br />62)leadersCoaching and training sessions were provided to school and community Leadership <br />to integrate best family engagement practices into their work and Training & <br />community efforts. Coaching <br />Educational workshops were provided to staff from 24 community-based Professional <br />13 <br />organizations. Participants gained tangible techniques and skills for <br />building strengths -based partnerships with parents/caregivers. Development <br />rInformation-sharing and outreach conversations were conducted by Socios to <br />parents/caregivers. Topics of family -to -family communication included literacy Outreach & <br />3362-3)and language acquisition strategies for at-home learning, key parts of the Community <br />First 5 Kit for New Parents, and information about adult ESL classes and Education <br />food/nutrition programs. <br />
