6. 1. C. - Page 23 Attachment A — Scope of Services Attachment A is a description of the services desired by the City. Contractor should address all points in Chapter 3 — Work Plan of Contractor's proposal. Background The City is soliciting Contractors experienced in pump maintenance and repair to maintain and repair the City's stormwater pumps, motors and related apparatuses. The selected Contractor will be expected to service approximately 45 pumps located at 21 pump stations. Service will include, but is not limited to: • pump and motor inspections, • removal and installation of pumps/motors and related parts, • transport and delivery of pumps/motors, • repair and/or replacement of pumps/motors and related parts, • providing detailed maintenance and repair reports, • providing recommendations for equipment upgrades or improvements. The City currently uses a variety of pumps and motors at the stormwater pump stations. Contractor is expected to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all models of pumps and motors in use by the City, including but not limited to: — Pumps: Johnston, Byron Jackson, Fairbanks -Morse, Berkeley, Aurora — Motors: U.S. Electrical Motors, General Electric The City may increase or decrease the number of pumps, motors, and/or pump stations, and add or remove models at the City's sole discretion throughout the agreement. Contractor shall furnish all parts, materials, labor, equipment, fuel, tools, transportation and services for the successful completion of the agreement, which includes scheduled maintenance and repair (including emergency repair services). Disposal of any unusable material and debris as a result of the work is the responsibility of the Contractor. Contractor may suggest modifications to the scope of services that will result in cost savings and/or a better product. Any modifications must be clearly stated in the submitted proposal and must be approved by the City. Description of Work The general work and requirements for this agreement include, but is not limited to, the following: A. Pump Preventative Maintenance Program Please describe or outline the proposed preventative maintenance (PM) plan for Redwood City in the proposal. This should include the level of service, parts, and materials included under PM.
