Community Development Department <br /> <br /> lann' g <br /> <br /> November 19, 199! <br /> <br /> Honorable City Council <br /> Redwood City, California <br /> <br /> SUBJECT: ZT 10502-1 and ZM 10404-1: "CBR" (Central Business Retail) <br /> Zoninq District <br /> <br /> Application to create a new Zoning District (CBR) for the <br /> downtown area and amend the Zoning Map accordingly. Both <br /> actions will achieve the goals of the General Plan and the <br /> Downtown Development Plan. <br /> <br /> Nembers of the City Council: <br /> <br /> The Planning 'Commission transmits its record and rec'ommendations by the <br /> following action on these applications at its October 17th, 1991 <br /> meeting: <br /> <br /> ACTION: On motion by Commissioner Dean, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Nobles, the Planning Commission voted to recommend to the City <br /> Council that the Zoning Text Amendment be approved, with the <br /> addition of auto parts sales, thereby creating the "CBR" Zoning <br /> District. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br /> ACTION: On motion by Commissioner Dean, seconded by Commissioner <br /> O'Connell, the Planning Commission voted to recommend to the <br /> City Council that the proposed Zoning Map Amendment for <br /> CBR District be approved.
