EA 10909-1: Negative Declaration for the proposed Zoning Text <br /> and Map Amendments. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br /> b. ZT 10502-1: Zoning Text Amendment to create a "CBR" (Central <br /> Business Retail) District. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br /> c. ZM 10404-1: Zoning Map Amendment which rezones the Business <br /> Improvement District to "CBR" (Central Business Retail) <br /> District. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br /> Items a., b., and c. were heard simultaneously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Patterson stated that this proposal has been before the <br /> Planning Commission previously and that there have been public <br /> meetings with respect to the rezoning. The entire Business <br /> Improvement District (BID) is proposed to be rezoned to a District <br /> that will require retail uses on the ground floor. Office uses can <br /> be permitted with a Use Permit. Issues that were raised at the <br /> meetings were addressed by amending certain portions of the proposed <br /> Ordinance.
