(091202) <br /> <br />-- AGREEMENT <br /> ~AGENCY~ <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , <br /> <br /> 2002, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California ("City") and <<agency)), a California nonprofit <br /> organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides <(provides)); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> the program described in the attached Exhibit A, which is incorporated herein by this <br /> reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July <br /> 1,2002, and ending June 30, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed said request; finds that providing the <br /> financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to allocate <br /> to Contractor the sum of <(amount)~; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> <<amount)) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> 2002, and ending June 30, 2003, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br /> Paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes. <br /> <br /> 3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM.
