17. LOBBYING PROHIBITING. Funds provided under this Agreement will not <br />- be used by Contractor for publicity or propaganda purposes designed to support or <br /> defeat legislation pending before federal, state, or local government. <br /> 18. RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY PROHIBITED. There will be no religious worship, <br /> instruction or proselytizing as apart of, or in connection with the performance of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> 19. NOTICES. The names of the persons who are authorized to give written <br /> notices or to receive written notice on behalf of the City and on behalf of the Contractor <br /> under this Agreement are as follows: <br /> <br /> For City: Ed Everett, City Manager <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> 1017 Middlefield Road <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> (650) 780-7300 <br /> <br /> For Contractor: <br /> <br /> 20. GENERAL COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS. Contractor will keep fully informed <br /> of federal, state and local laws and ordinances and regulations which in any manner <br /> affect those employed, by Contractor, or in any way affect the performance of the <br /> Program by Contractor. Contractor will at all times observe and comply with these laws, <br /> ordinances, and regulations and will be responsible for the compliance of Contractor's <br /> services with all applicable.laws, ordinances and regulations. <br /> <br /> 21. JURISDICTIONS AND VENUE. Any action at law or in equity brought by <br /> either of the Parties for the purpose of enforcing a right or rights provided for by this <br /> Agreement will be tried in a court of competent jurisdiction in the County of San Mateo, <br /> State of California, and the Parties waive all provisions of law providing for a change of <br /> venue in these proceedings to any other county. <br /> <br /> <br />
