EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT (HIP Housing) <br /> FISCAL YEAR 2002/03 <br /> <br /> CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />Program Objectives: <br /> <br /> Place 5-6 Redwood City single parents and 7-10 Redwood City <br /> children in affordable housing <br /> · Implement Housing Authority Certificates. <br /> · Manage three service-enriched shared living residences in <br /> Redwood City to provide affordable housing to 5-6 single- <br /> parent families. <br /> · Provide subsidized, affordable housing to two single-parent <br /> families who live independently in HIP Housing owned <br /> apartment units in Redwood City. <br /> <br /> Provide on going case management to oversee and monitor <br /> progress towards self-sufficiency for 5-6 Redwood City single- <br /> parent families. <br /> · Provide guidance and support through monthly or bi- <br /> monthly meetings. <br /> · Connect 5-6 Redwood City families with resources for child <br /> care, employment, financial assistance and appropriate <br /> counseling. <br /> <br /> Provide 12 Life Skills Workshops for developing self-sufficiency <br /> skills. <br /> <br /> <br />
