B. Award of contract for Kennedy Middle School Safe Routes to School <br />Improvements (304) <br />By motion: <br />1. Approve the contract documents and award a contract (Section 00520) <br />for the Kennedy Middle School Safe Routes to School Improvements to <br />FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. of Livermore, CA for their responsive <br />and responsible low base bid of $1,184,600 and authorize the City <br />Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% above <br />the original contract amount <br />2.
