WII',IGES
ARCHITECTS

Meetings: Services include up to 6 meetings with City Staffat :2 hours each during the
design and working drawings phases, and up to 10 construction site meetings of 2 hours
each during the construction observation phase. Any additional meeting time will be billed
as a reimbursable expense at $130.00 per hour.

The Client (City of Redwood City), and the Consultant (WlNGES Architects Inc.) further agree
that:

1) It is understood that the existing buildings may not necessarily meet all of today's structural,
disabled access, asbestos, or energy codes and laws. These services are not be considered a
building inspection, or a warranty/guarantee of the adequacy of any existing conditions, nor is it
guaranteed that the remaining portion of the existing building(s) will meet all codes and laws after
renovation.

2) WlNGES Architects Inc. will use the 1998 California Building Code, Title 24 standards and the
CalDAG 2000 Interpretive Manual for compliance with ADA and Federal access laws. These are
state recognized accessibility codes which have been developed to comply with the Federally
mandated ADA. Since the ADA is not a building code and may be subjeet to different and/or
future interpretation by the courts, WlNGES does not warranty or guarantee that the facilities will
fully comply with all interpretations of the ADA.
