E. Equipment: <br />Contractor will maintain in good condition all equipment necessary to perform the work <br />described under this Scope of Work. <br />F. City Inspection of Work: <br />City staff reserve the right to inspect Contractor's work. Contractor will promptly correct <br />any deficiencies at Contractor's expense. <br />Notwithstanding the separate Liquidated Damages clause, if Contractor fails to perform <br />the work required by the terms of the agreement in a diligent and satisfactory manner, the <br />City may, after 30 days' written notice to Contractor, perform or cause to be performed, <br />all or any part of the work required hereunder. Contractor will reimburse the City, and the <br />City may deduct the amount from any sum owed Contractor. <br />G. Guarantee and Warranty of Work: <br />The Contractor shall guarantee all work performed under the agreement against defects <br />resulting from the use of substandard materials, equipment or workmanship for one year <br />from the date of service. <br />H. During the warranty period for any new equipment installation, the Contractor shall be <br />responsible for making contact between the equipment manufacturer and the City <br />regarding any required service determined to be under warranty. The Contractor will <br />notify the City of any undue delays in response and provide details of each incident. <br />2.
