8.A. - Page 31 of 31 <br />Appendix A <br />401(a) Retirement Plan Employee Contributions <br />Effective January 1, 2017, or upon Council approval of the amended 401(a) plan <br />document, employee contributions shall be as follows: <br />Group 1: Executive members appointed prior to January 1, 2015 shall continue with <br />the mandatory employee contribution designated at the time of appointment <br />Group 2: Executive members appointed on or after January 1, 2015 shall have <br />mandatory employee contributions as follows: <br />City Manager and City Attorney <br />5% of Salary <br />Department Heads: <br />5% of Salary <br />• Public Safety <br />• Miscellaneous Tier 3 <br />(PEPRA) <br />All other Executive Members <br />No Employee Contribution <br />is <br />255 <br />
