For example, a permanent FAR and garage placement rules could be adopted at the <br />same time as the Residential Design Guidelines. Additional public input will allow staff to further refine <br />the recommendations and a package of amendments. The final design guidelines and amendments <br />would go to Planning Commission and City Council for adoption in 2020. Staff could also provide <br />updates to the Planning Commission and City Council along the way for direction, and to make sure the <br />policies are on the right path. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />None.
