<br /> 6.28 <br /> Page 8 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. M002 UNDER THE MASTER <br />AGREEMENT (No. 04-5029) FOR LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL-AID <br />PROJECTS FOR SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM (STP) <br />PROJECTS; AND DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE <br />AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE TO EXECUTE ALL AGREEMENTS <br />RELATED TO THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City entered into a Master Agreement with the <br />State of California Department of Transportation for Transportation Project Funding, <br />dated September 10, 2002 (the "Master Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 1 of Article I of the Master <br />Agreement, this Council desires to enter into a Program Supplement for the funding for <br />the rehabilitation and resurfacing of various City streets in the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, Program Supplement No. M002 allocates funds for construction for <br />the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City wishes to delegate authorization to <br />execute these agreements and any amendments thereto to the City manager; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Program Supplement No. M002 to the Master Agreement for Transportation <br />Improvement Projects by and between the City of Redwood City and the State of <br />California, Department of Transportation, dated as of, March 29, 2006, in the form of <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, is hereby <br />A TTY/RESO/RESO.1609 1 <br />041206 <br />
