<br /> 98 <br /> Page 9 <br />Current Travel Patterns of Respondents <br />Several questions were asked on the survey (a copy of the survey is included at the end <br />of this report) to determine where in Redwood City riders most likely would be interested <br />in taking a commute alternative such as a shuttle bus (rather than driving). Respondents <br />were asked where they travel, how often they travel there, and their current commute <br />mode. <br />Table 2 shows that one.third of the respondents regularly travel to a shopping center and <br />nearly one-third to work. Twenty percent of the respondents also travel regularly to <br />school. Table 3 shows that 69% of the respondents travel to these destinations five times <br />per week.
