Council Member Ira brought up the fact that a few years back a plan for consolidation of <br /> the newspaper racks was implemented. He stated that he has recently seen single racks in <br /> use. City Manager Everett stated that a report would need to come back and that the plan <br /> had called for consolidation within specific areas of the City. <br /> <br /> D. Mayor Ruskin stated the American Legion has extended an invitation to attend the annual <br /> Memorial Day services on May 28 at 8:15 a.m. at the Union Cemetery at Woodside Road <br /> and E1 Camino. Following the services, there will be a complimentary breakfast at the <br /> American Legion Hall on E1 Camino. <br /> <br /> E. Mayor Ruskin stated that the City received an award from the San Mateo County Child <br /> Abuse Council and San Mateo County Board of Supervisors for the preventive programs <br /> through the Police Department. <br /> <br /> 13.
