Housing and Human Concerns Committee 2006/2007 Funding Recommendations <br />for the Human Services Financial Assistance (HSFA) Program <br /> <br />Staff contact: Teri Chin, Human Services Manager 780-7510 tchin@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Give staff direction to incorporate the Housing and Human Concerns Committee's <br />recommendations for HSF A for FY 06-07 into the FY 06-07 budget to be <br />presented for review by Council in June. HSFA recommendations are being <br />presented this evening as a part of the overall Annual Action Plan for the City's <br />use of HUD funds. The Council will not take any action at this time. <br /> <br />8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />A. Adopt a resolution approving the Annual Action Plan and authorizing <br />the City Manager to execute and file documents related to the Annual <br />Action Plan for submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development; <br />2. Amend the 2005/06 Annual Action Plan and reprogram funds from prior <br />years to the Cedar Street Site Acquisition Project, and <br />3. Approve a funding agreement that is substantially in final form with <br />Mental Health Association of San Mateo County for the acquisition of <br />the Cedar Street site for affordable housing. <br />4.
