The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present with <br />Council Member Ira and Vice Mayor Foust absent. MINUTE ORDER 06 -70 <br />B. Downtown parking in -lieu fee <br />Downtown Coordinator Zack explained the report. <br />Recommendation: <br />M/S Hartnett/Aguirre to adopt the attached Resolution, which establishes a <br />parking in -lieu fee for development in Downtown. (505) <br />RESOLUTION 14701 ESTABLISHING PARKING IN -LIEU PARKING FEE FOR <br />THE DOWNTOWN PARKING ZONE <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present <br />with Council Member Ira and Vice Mayor Foust absent. <br />9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST - <br />A. Legislation (information only) - This sub - section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />Priority Focus Bulletin No. 12 -2006. Council may direct staff to act on positions <br />taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus available in <br />City Clerk's Department.) <br />B. Council Member Howard — stated that the Kiwanis started the Farmers' Market <br />on Saturday, April land will be open into the fall. <br />C. Council Member Bain — stated that with the 100 anniversary of the 1906 <br />earthquake coming up, the City is sponsoring an Emergency Preparedness Day on <br />April 18 from 11 -1:00 p.m. You can order supply kits for home or vehicles and see <br />pictures of great quake and help prepare yourself for the next one. <br />D.
