The names and results of the persons voted for at said election for members of the City Council are: NAME VOTES RECEIVED Giselle Hale 12,723 votes or 18.24% Diane Howard 11,904 votes or 17.07% Diana Reddy 11,319 votes or 16.23% Rick Hunter 10,977 votes or 15.74% Christina Umhofer 9,425 votes or 13.51 % Jason Galisatus 9,028 votes or 12.94% Ernie Schmidt 4,370 votes or 6.27% 5. The City Council does declare and determine that: Giselle Hale is elected as a member of the City Council for a term of four years. Diane Howard is elected as a member of the City Council for a term of four years. Diana Reddy is elected as a member of the City Council for a term of four years. 6. The City Clerk shall deliver to each person elected a certification of election signed by her and duly authenticated; the City Clerk shall also administer to the persons elected the oath of office as prescribed in the State Constitution of the State of California and shall have each of them subscribe to it and file it in the office of the City Clerk. Each person elections shall then be inducted into the respective office to which they have been elected. 7. Measure RR (Essential Services Protection) appeared on the ballot as follows: Shall the ordinance to fund essential city services such as protecting rapid 911 emergency response times; preserving the number of on -duty firefighters/paramedics/police officers; continuing after-school/recreation programs for children; and maintaining local library hours/programs by establishing a 0.5% sales tax, providing approximately $8,000,000 annually until repealed by voters, with exemptions for essential purchases like food/medicine, annual audits and all funds staying in Redwood City, be adopted? It was determined and declared that Measure RR did receive a majority of the votes cast with 19,207 votes cast in favor and 9,210 votes cast in opposition and therefore was approved by the voters of Redwood City. 8. Measure DD (Cannabis Business Tax) appeared on the ballot as follows: Shall the measure funding police patrols, after-school recreation programs and other general city services by imposing a cannabis business tax on all cannabis (marijuana) businesses at an annual rate which shall not exceed 10% of gross receipts of each business, which is expected to generate an estimated $210,000 annually and will be levied until repealed by the voters, requiring annual audits and with all funds staying in Redwood City, be adopted? 22
