A typical way to <br />obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be: <br />Experience: <br />The Software Development and Application Support Analyst I must have <br />at least six (6) months of application development and/or application <br />support experience, preferably in the public sector. <br />The Software Development and Application Support Analyst II must <br />have at least three (3) years of application development and/or support <br />experience, including a minimum of six (6) months experience in the <br />public sector. <br />For both levels, knowledge of municipal operations and related <br />computer applications including Finance, Payroll, and Human <br />Resources systems, Permit Processing systems, Utility systems, Public <br />Safety systems, and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is <br />desirable. <br />Education: <br />For all levels, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited <br />college or university with major course work in Management Information <br />Systems or related field. <br />ATTY/RESO.0113/CC RESO AMENDING CITY'S CLASSIFICATION & SALARY PLAN — EXHIBIT A-2 <br />REV: 12-04-18 VR <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />40 <br />
