2 There should be affordable housing but we should limit how much affordable housing will be <br />built on city -owned land <br />1- we have plenty of housing being built but more of a percentage needs to be allocated for low <br />income etc instead of the measly 8 or 10% that already is. Unfortunately low income housing <br />equals less money for the developer, the city council members can train etc. Make changes now <br />before its too late <br />2 I'm not sure what this means- parkland? Question needs for explanation <br />1 Oppose. Redwood City should not be in the housing business. <br />No! No! No! Enough is enough. The quality of life for us old-time RWCresidents has <br />plummeted during the last 3-4 year. Too much traffic, too crowded wherever you go and <br />horrendous water & garbage rates. I'm on a fixed income and can't pay the inflated water bill. <br />I'm alredy taking my laundry to my daughter's house to save water. $300 per month is an <br />outrage!! Please keep what little of our quality of life left in RWC as is. We just can't afford more <br />residences. The money acquired does not make up for the falling quality of life. <br />1 It's not the city's job to build housing. <br />1 We definitely don't need RWC Projects. <br />1. Rather an unfair question being as limited as it is and explaining itself. With the city be getting <br />into the rental business? What are other possible or even propose usages for the properties?? I <br />generally am against things that are not clearly stated. <br />Neutral/don't know: <br />+9 3 - It's not that simple. It depends on the land. I wouldn't want the city to build over a park, <br />for example. Also, it's not like the city has a bunch of vacant lots laying around unused. <br />+7 3 1 am strongly in support of affordable housing, but I think the major problem is the greed <br />of current property owners and a legal/corporate structure that allows them to make unlimited <br />profit at the expense of those who struggle most in our communities. Instead of isolating <br />working and middle class people in separate developments, we should have laws that require <br />
