12/10/2018 <br />of each business, which is expected to generate an estimated $210,000 annually and will <br />be levied until repealed by the voters, requiring annual audits and with all funds staying <br />in Redwood City, be adopted? <br />It was determined and declared that Measure DD did receive a majority of the votes <br />cast with 22,381 votes cast in favor and 6,060 votes cast in opposition and therefore was <br />approved by the voters of Redwood City. <br />9. Measure 00 (Charter Amendments) appeared on the ballot as follows: <br />Shall the measure amending the Charter to update certain provisions, including <br />modernizing public notice provisions, establishing terms limits for City boards, requiring <br />the budget to be submitted to Council 30 days before the new fiscal year, having the City <br />Clerk appointed by the City Manager, eliminating a residency requirement for City <br />Manager to comply with State law, updating procedures for City payments, and <br />consolidating the roles of Director of Finance and Treasurer, be adopted? <br />It was determined and declared that Measure 00 did receive a majority of the <br />votes cast with 20,606 votes cast in favor and 5,968 votes cast in opposition and therefore <br />was approved by the voters of Redwood City. <br />10. The City Clerk shall enter on the records of the City Council of the City, a <br />statement of the results of the election, showing: (1) the whole number of votes cast in <br />the City (2) the names of the persons voted for (3) the measures voted upon (4) for what <br />office each person was voted for (5) the number of votes given at each precinct to each <br />person and for and against each measure (5) the total number of votes given to each <br />person, and for and against each measure. <br />11.
