(b) "Retrofitting Services" means installing SMCNTF designated after -market <br />equipment to SMCNTF designated Fleet Equipment, which generally includes but is not limited <br />to the following equipment: light bars and sirens, firearm racks and mounted firearm safes, <br />advanced electrical and technological components deemed occupationally specific, reinforced <br />safety and security features, which SMCNTF will provide a list of required supplies and <br />equipment to be retrofitted for each designated vehicle. <br />(c) "Fleet Equipment" means vehicles in the fleet of SMCNTF and used for <br />public purposes, and which generally includes both marked and unmarked motor vehicles of <br />various makes and models <br />(d) "Municipal Services Center" means Redwood City's Municipal Services <br />Center, located at 1400 Broadway, Redwood City, California. <br />2. MAINTENANCE SERVICES. <br />(a) Redwood City shall provide Maintenance Services and Retrofitting <br />Services on an "as needed" basis based upon Fleet Equipment manufacturer <br />recommendations and upon request of SMCNTF. SMCNTF shall deliver its Fleet Equipment to <br />the Municipal Services Center for Maintenance Services and upon completion thereof, take <br />delivery of said Fleet Equipment within a reasonable time. SMCNTF is responsible for <br />scheduling Maintenance Services for each vehicle and upon completion of said services, <br />Redwood City shall generally indicate the approximate date of the next recommended <br />maintenance service for such vehicle. <br />(b) Further, SMCNTF has sole authority and responsibility to schedule or to <br />omit Maintenance Services and Retrofitting Services for any particular motor vehicle or <br />equipment. <br />3. COMPENSATION; COSTS; REVISIONS. SMCNTF shall compensate Redwood <br />City for labor furnished hereunder for Maintenance and Retrofitting Services at the hourly rate of <br />one -hundred -nineteen and 49/100 Dollars ($119.49), including common labor, skilled labor, <br />REV: 10-30-18 PT <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />ATTY/AGR.2018.254/San Mateo COunty Narcotics Task Force <br />
