The Redwood City Historic Resources Advisory Committee held an <br />information meeting to review the process, specific benefits and limitations related to the <br />Mezesville/Centennial historic district proposal. , <br />Circa Consultants of San Francisco are the historians in charge of documenting the proposed <br />Mezesville/Centennial Historic district area for the Redwood City Planning Department. This meeting was well <br />attended by the neighborhood residents who had questions about what changes could be made to their <br />respective properties in the event that the proposed historic district would be designated. <br /> <br />On Monday, February 13, 2006, at 6:30 PM, in the Multi-purpose facilities room of Orion School located <br />at 815 Allerton Avenue, the Redwood City Historic Resources Advisory Committee, with the support of <br />Caravaglia Architects and Circa Consultants, will offer an informational training workshop that will include <br />responses to the questions asked at the meeting last December. Using specific photographic examples of <br />properties located in the Mezesville/Centennial neighborhood, they will illustrate the techniques and standards <br />that can insure the appropriate treatment of structures within a proposed district and enhance property values. <br /> <br />Please plan to attend this brief yet useful workshop, particularly if you live or own property within the proposed <br />district area. <br /> <br />If you have any questions, please call staff at the phone number indicated above. <br />
