0RIGINAL 6/5/00 RESOLUTION NO. 13906 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, ACTING AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF REDWOOD SHORES COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 99 -1 (SHORES TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT) OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, APPROVING THE INITIAL SPECIAL TAX REPORT OF SUCH DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has established Redwood Shores Community Facilities District No. 99 -1 (Shores Transportation Improvement Project) of the City of Redwood City (the "District ") pursuant to the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, as amended, for the purpose of financing certain public facilities and incidental expenses; and WHEREAS, as required by the Rate and Method of Apportionment for the District, there has been prepared and presented at this meeting an Initial Special Tax Report of the District setting forth certain information relating to the parcels within the District, the projected sources and uses of funds for the District for fiscal year 2000 -01, the applicable special tax rates, and certain other information, which Initial Special Tax Report this Council desires to approve; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF THE DISTRICT, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Approval of Initial Special Tax Report The Initial Special Tax Report of the District presented at this meeting and on file with the City Clerk is hereby approved. SECTION 2. Effective Date This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
