12/10/2018 <br />ORDINANCE NO.1130-377 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING A ZONING AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE 60 (ZONING <br />DISTRICT BOUNDARIES - MAPS) TO REZONE THE PROPERTY AT <br />515 VETERANS BOULEVARD FROM INDUSTRIAL PARK TO <br />INDUSTRIAL PARK — VEHICULAR <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at a duly noticed public hearing on <br />October 16, 2018 adopted Resolution 18-17 recommending that the City Council <br />approve a Zoning Amendment to add the Vehicular Combining District to 515 Veterans <br />Boulevard (052-401-020, 052-401-160) thereby rezoning the property to Industrial Park <br />— Vehicular (IP -V) (the Project) as shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 19, 2018, the City Council held a duly noticed public <br />hearing regarding the Project and considered the staff reports, oral and written, and <br />testimony and materials presented by all those wishing to be heard on the Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />SECTION 2. Based on the facts in the staff report, written and oral testimony on <br />evidence presented, the City Council finds this amendment to the Zoning Map to be in <br />the public interest and in conformance with the General Plan and the goals and <br />objectives of Article 49 of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The City Council hereby finds that the Project is within the scope of <br />the previously approved General Plan for which the 2010 General Plan EIR was <br />prepared. As set forth in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the attached <br />memorandum dated September 27, 2018, the proposed Project is consistent with the <br />densities and policies in the General Plan that were analyzed in the 2010 General Plan <br />EIR. There are no environmental effects which are peculiar to the Project or site, and no <br />further environmental review is required. <br />SECTION 4.
