12/10/2018 ORDINANCE NO.1130-377 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING A ZONING AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE 60 (ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES - MAPS) TO REZONE THE PROPERTY AT 515 VETERANS BOULEVARD FROM INDUSTRIAL PARK TO INDUSTRIAL PARK — VEHICULAR WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at a duly noticed public hearing on October 16, 2018 adopted Resolution 18-17 recommending that the City Council approve a Zoning Amendment to add the Vehicular Combining District to 515 Veterans Boulevard (052-401-020, 052-401-160) thereby rezoning the property to Industrial Park — Vehicular (IP -V) (the Project) as shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, on November 19, 2018, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing regarding the Project and considered the staff reports, oral and written, and testimony and materials presented by all those wishing to be heard on the Project. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. SECTION 2. Based on the facts in the staff report, written and oral testimony on evidence presented, the City Council finds this amendment to the Zoning Map to be in the public interest and in conformance with the General Plan and the goals and objectives of Article 49 of the Zoning Ordinance. SECTION 3. The City Council hereby finds that the Project is within the scope of the previously approved General Plan for which the 2010 General Plan EIR was prepared. As set forth in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the attached memorandum dated September 27, 2018, the proposed Project is consistent with the densities and policies in the General Plan that were analyzed in the 2010 General Plan EIR. There are no environmental effects which are peculiar to the Project or site, and no further environmental review is required. SECTION 4. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 49 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, Article 60, Zoning District Boundaries - Maps is hereby amended as follows: ATTY/ORD.474/RC ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING MAP -515 VETERANS ORDINANCE 1130-377 REV: 11-13-18 PR MUFF NO. 602 Page 1 of 3
