Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The Chairperson thanked all those presents for coming to the meeting and speaking on the <br /> issue. <br /> <br /> City Council recesses 9:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Redevelopment Agency Budget and City Council Budgets will be addressed separately; <br /> 9:30 p.m. <br /> B. Fiscal Year 2000/2001 Appropriations Revisions; <br /> Recommendation: (501) <br /> ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING SPECIFIED AMOUNTS FROM DESIGNATED <br /> UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCES TO SPECIFIED APPROPRIATIONS, <br /> CANCELING CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS, AND TRANSFERRING SPECIFIED <br /> AMOUNTS FROM DESIGNATED APPROPRIATIONS TO OTHER SPECIFIED <br /> APPROPRIATIONS; MO 01-95 <br /> <br /> Finance Director Ponty provided the staff report stating that the issue of the 2000/2001 <br /> Appropriations Revisions pertains to budget adjustments and amendments (about 27 line <br /> items). <br /> <br /> Council Members asked if the line item relating to the overtime paid out to the Fire <br /> Department was in addition to the amount that was already allocated in the budget. Mr. <br /> Ponty explained that the item listed was an additional appropriation to supplement the <br /> current appropriation for Fire Department's overtime. <br /> <br /> Chief Montez made some comments on the fact that over the last year there were 3 <br /> firefighters that either retired or were out on medical disability, and this impacted the rest of <br /> the team.
