5. SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY - None <br /> <br />6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br /> Rudy Lucca resident of Redwood City received a response in regards to the traffic light on <br /> Vera West of Hudson, and the traffic problem on that intersection. However Mr. Lucca <br /> misplaced the letter sent by the City, and he is trying to locate the City Staff who sent the letter. <br /> City Manager Everett directed Mr. Lucca to Joel Patterson, Engineering Department Manager. <br /> <br /> Warren Dale resident of Redwood City and vice-chair of the Civic Cultural Commission, <br /> referred to a letter sent by the Chair requesting an increase in the budget allocated to this <br /> Commission. The schools have been requesting more money from the Commission as more <br /> budget cuts affect these entities. Additionally, the Civic Cultural Commission has gotten more <br /> involved in other community events such as the Jazz Festival causing more expenditures for the <br /> Commission. <br /> <br />7. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be <br /> enacted by one motion and one vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless <br /> a Council Member or Citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the <br /> consent and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. <br /> <br /> M/S Howard/Pierce to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by <br /> title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. <br /> <br /> 7.1 Section - Motions <br /> <br /> A. Motion to accept the deed offered by Istvan S. Horvath and Julia Horvath, pursuant to <br /> Resolution No. 10944, adopted December 5, 1988, and to record a certified copy of the <br /> Resolution and Order with the deed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo <br /> County; (608) MO 01-91 <br /> <br /> 7.2 Section - Agreements/Resolutions <br /> <br /> A.
