6.F. - Page 4 of 5 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY REGARDING THE PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCES <br />WHEREAS, Section 15 of the City Charter of the City of Redwood City provides <br />that ordinances shall be published at least once in accordance with the procedures <br />established by ordinance of the City Council of the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City now desires to establish <br />procedures for the publication of ordinances. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />SECTION 2. Within fifteen (15) days after adoption of an ordinance or an <br />amendment to an ordinance, the City Clerk shall publish a summary of the ordinance or <br />amendment in a newspaper of general circulation with the names of those City <br />Councilmembers voting for and against the ordinance or amendment. <br />SECTION 3. Within fifteen (15) days after adoption of an ordinance or an <br />amendment to an ordinance, the City Clerk shall post in the office of the City Clerk a <br />certified copy of the full text of the adopted ordinance or amendment along with the names <br />of those City Councilmembers voting for and against the ordinance or amendment. <br />SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall publish this ordinance in accordance with <br />applicable law. <br />SECTION 5.
