should not be locating additional development in areas that are vulnerable to sea level rise until there is a plan <br />in place for how to protect it. <br />As a resident of Oakland that has neighbors commuting to the Peninsula to work, adding that many jobs <br />without housing, in a flood plain, makes no sense for the health of the region. If the region becomes too <br />cumbersome for employees to live in, talented people will not live here. Residents eventually give up when <br />faced with high housing costs, impossible traffic that makes childcare difficult, the inability to find schools <br />close to work amd housing.
