Appointments to City Council-appointed <br />Commissions <br /> <br />Boards, <br /> <br />Committees, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Mayor Pierce stated that this item would be taken out of order. She thanked all the <br />applicants for applying, interviewing and sharing their vision while encouraging <br />those not appointed to reach out and learn more about the position and what other <br />ways are possible to be involved in the community. She further stated that a <br />suggestion to conduct the vote by ballot had arisen and would be discussed at a <br />later date. City Clerk Howe conducted the roll call vote on each board, committee <br />and commission as follows: <br /> <br />1. Architectural Review Committee (Three four-year terms, expiring May 31, <br />2010). Applicants are listed in alphabetical order: <br /> <br />. Torres, Mike <br /> <br />The successful applicants were Steve Drotos, Thomas Gilman and John <br />Spotorno to serve on the Architectural Review Committee for a four-year <br />term, expiring May 31,2010. She asked that staff might consider the <br />applicants not chosen at this time be kept on file for a possible alternate <br />position. <br /> <br />2.
