Legislation (information only) - This sub-section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />Priority Focus Bulletin No. 18-2006 and 19-2006. Council Priorities - Main Grouping and Specific Priority Information <br /> <br />Mayor Pierce explained that the information transmitted to Council would be <br />posted to the City website if there were no objections. <br /> <br />Questions from Council ensued on groupings under each topic and discussion <br />occurred on how to best inform the community on the process Council went <br />through regarding the priorities. <br /> <br />Council consensus was for Mayor Pierce to work with the Public Communications <br />Manager to develop an introductory paragraph that explains the discussion <br />Council had in developing the priorities that Council believes reflect the <br />community's values. <br /> <br />D. Update on Bair Island Restoration Effort <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Foust gave an update on the topic as requested by Council, <br />highlighting 6 points.
