6.A. - Page 17 of 27 Exhibit A <br />RECORDING REQUESTED BY <br />AND WHEN RECORDED RETURN TO. <br />City of Redwood City <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, California 94063 <br />Attn: City Clerk <br />(Space above this Line for Recorder's Use Only) <br />Public Access Easement Deed <br />THE UNDERSIGNED GRANTOR DECLARES AS FOLLOWS: <br />The undersigned declares that this Grant Deed is exempt from Recording Fees pursuant to <br />California Government Code section 27383 and exempt from Documentary Transfer Tax pursuant <br />to California Revenue and Taxation Code section 11922. <br />FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, Redwood City <br />Hotels, LLC (Grantor) hereby GRANT(s) to the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation (Grantee), a permanent easement in and to that certain real property in Redwood <br />City, County of San Mateo, State of California as more particularly described in and shown on <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. The parcel of real property <br />described in and shown on Exhibit A shall be used for the purpose of a public access easement <br />for ingress and egress for public purposes. The provisions of this Deed are intended to and will <br />run with the land, and, until their expiration or termination in accordance with the terms of this <br />Deed, will bind, be a charge upon and inure to the benefit of Grantor and Grantee, their respective <br />successors and assigns. <br />THE PURPOSE(S) OF THE EASEMENT shall be for the right of ingress and egress for public <br />purposes over, along, upon, under and across the parcel of real property described in and shown <br />on Exhibit A. Said parcel to be kept open and free from buildings and structures of any kind, <br />except for lawful fences, surface pavement, and irrigation systems, and appurtenances thereof. <br />GRANTOR FURTHER GRANTS TO GRANTEE the right to: <br />1. Grant said easement or a portion thereof to other public utilities or public agencies; <br />2. Review and control the planting, trimming, maintenance and/or removal of any trees or other <br />plants within said easement; and <br />3.
