CLK-Pamela Aguilar
From: Carol Ford <carol_ford@sbcglobal.net>
Sent: Sunday, February 24, 2019 12:13 AM
To: GRP -City Council
Subject: Redwood Shores as its own District
Dear Mayor and City Council Members,
I am writing to urge making Redwood Shores ONE district for upcoming district elections. Redwood Shores meets
the legal guidelines being a distinct area divided by water and highway. The issues pertaining to Redwood Shores differ
greatly from other areas of Redwood City. We have a close knit community which needs representation for those
issues. Redwood Shores should not be divided in anyway, or joined with another area for a district. The whole point of
creating districts is appropriate representation. Redwood Shores is already a separate area of the city, and any district
lines should reflect that.
If you need more information about Redwood Shores, please reach out to me or another member of Redwood Shores
Community Association.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Carol Ford
Redwood Shores Community Association
591 8308
