Approve warrants dated through May 8, 2006 and usual and necessary payments <br />through May 22, 2006. (303) MINUTE ORDER 06 -89 <br />7. STAFF REPORTS <br />A. Solid Waste and Recycling Services <br />Bob Hilton of Hilton Farnkopf & Hobson explained the proposed process. <br />(PowerPoint presentation on file.) <br />Recommendation: <br />Mr. Bob Hilton from Hilton Farnkopf & Hobson, the firm engaged by the South <br />Bayside Waste Management Authority (SBWMA) provided an overview to Council <br />on the proposed process to obtain competitive bids for solid waste collection and <br />recycling services and actions that have taken place to date. (803) <br />Recess: 8:30 -8:40 p.m. <br />B. Capitol Improvement Program FY's 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 First Study <br />Session <br />Manager, Engineering and Construction Chang presented the proposed <br />Capital improvement Program (CIP). (PowerPoint presentation on file.) The <br />next CIP presentation will be made at the budget study sessions in June. <br />Council asked various questions and commented on items such as safety <br />in parks, consideration of new parks, intergenerational consideration in <br />community centers, and leveraging of monies.
