City of Redwood City - Sewer System Modeling, Capacity Assessment, and Master Planning
Draft Scope of Work

include the TMs prepared during the course of the study and other pertinent backup data (e.g.,
model results) that support the plan. RMC will prepare a draft master plan report for the City's
review. Three (3) copies of the draft report will be submitted.

Subtask 10.2 - Prepare Final Report
RMC will incorporate City's comments on the draft report into the Final Master Plan Report.
Five (5) copies of the final report will be submitted. RMC will also provide electronic files of
report text and mapping.

Deliverables:
. Draft and final reports
. Electronic copy of final master plan report

Task 11 - Model Trainina

Subtask 11. 1 - Model Training
RMC will prepare and conduct up to three training workshops with City staff. The intent of the
workshops will be to guide staff through the model construction and calibration processes, and
to demonstrate how to create scenarios, model new and/or rehabilitated sewers, and generate
and analyze a variety of model simulations. The training sessions may be conducted during or
at the end of the study, at the City's discretion. RMC will coordinate with City staff prior to each
workshop to identify and address the relative modeling and/or GIS experience of City staff
participating in the training, any perceived issues/concerns with City operation of the models,
and any anticipated operational and planning questions to be answered with model simulations.
Training workshops may be conducted at RMC's office in San Jose or at the City's offices,
depending on City preference.

Deliverables:
. Model training workshop materials

Task 12 - Project Manaaement and Qualitv Control

Subtask 12. 1 - Project Administration
RMC will prepare monthly status reports and invoices, and will closely monitor project budget,
labor hours expended, and schedule on a weekly basis throughout the project. The monthly
status reports will describe the work completed during the previous month, anticipated work for
the following month, current budget and schedule status, and any project issues requiring
discussion or resolution.

Subtask 12.2 - Workshops and Progress Meetings
RMC will attend up to seven scheduled meetings or workshops with the City's project manager
and other City staff as needed to discuss project progress and issues related to key project
tasks. The first workshop will be a kickoff meeting to review the goals and objectives of the
Master Plan, details of the work effort, and discuss how City staff would be involved in the
project. It is envisioned that the kickoff meeting would involve both the Engineering and
Construction Department staff, as well as targeted staff of other City departments (e.g., GIS,
Planning, Public Works) with RMC acting as facilitator to help focus the discussion on the key
issues and information needs for the Master Plan.

Subtask 12.3 - Project QA/QC Activities

7
