7.B.- Page 6of11 <br />Commission Work Plan Guidelines <br />Work Plan Worksheet 0 Ek. <br />Step 1 <br />Review purpose o To recommend to the Council or Manager the establishment of programs, stimulating and <br />Commission as encouraging the development and maintenance of senior programs and services in the City, and to <br />defined by review periodically such programs as are so established. <br />Charter/Ordinanc To review and make recommendations to the Council and Manager regarding the funding of senior <br />programs and services that operates within the City for the benefit of the City's senior population. <br />• Upon request therefore, to advise the Council and other boards and commissions of the City <br />regarding any matter affecting the City's senior citizen population. <br />Step 2 <br />Develop or review a <br />Mission Statement <br />that reflects that <br />purpose <br />Who we are, what we <br />do, who we do it for, and <br />why we do it <br />Step 3 <br />The general objectives of the Senior Affairs Commission shall be to encourage, foster, facilitate, establish <br />and maintain programs for the enhancement of all matters relating to the social, economic, and personal <br />wellbeing of the City's senior population. <br />Discuss any priorities • Housing <br />already established by • Transportation <br />Council as they relate .
