Kester <br />APN: 057-251-250 <br />807 Shepard Way <br />Redwood City, CA 94062 <br />Dear Ms. Kester: <br />Thank you for your recent letter to Redwood City concerning the proposed increase in <br />sewer rates. <br />As stated in the Notice of Proposed Increase in Sewer Rates, all public comments and <br />written protests will be included for the City Council's deliberation at its meeting of June 26, <br />2006 - the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. and takes place at City Han, 1017 Middlefield <br />Road. Your written protest is part of the record for that deliberation. <br />In response to your question: "If the (proposed) and (Projected) increase doesn't come <br />about is the rate reduced?" I assume that you mean if actual expenditures are not as <br />proposed or projected is the rate reduced. The proposed new rate is based on the higher <br />costs to operate and maintain the collection system and wastewater treatment plant.
