5.18 Page 17 463 Brewster Street Suite 4 Redwood City, Ca. 94063 Event Plan 2006 Annual July 4th Invitational Parade and Festival The Peninsula Celebration Association (peA) requests a Special Events Permit to conduct our Annual July 4th Invitational Parade and Festival in Redwood City on Tuesday, July 4,2006. (see attached 2006 Event map) The Parade The invitational parade will begin at 10:00 AM. A cannon shot at the intersection of Veterans Blvd and Middlefield Road will announce the start of the parade. The parade may include decorated floats, marching 1:>ands, drill teams, vintage and/or municipal vehicles, equestrian units, civic officials, invited quests, participating sponsors, and other entries as approved by the PCA. The parade organizers may, at their discretion, limit the entries in any category. The Parade Lineup Area is defined to include the following streets: Arguello St. from Whipple Ave. to Brewster Ave. Warren St. from Whipple Ave. to Marshall St. Allerton S1. from Whipple Ave. to Winslow St. Winslow St. from Howland St. to Marshall St.. Howland S1. from Arguello St. to Winslow St. Standish St. from Arguello St. to Winslow St. Hopkins St from Arguello St. to Winslow St. Samson St. from Arguello St. to Winslow St. Alden St. from Arguello St. to Winslow St. Brewster Ave from Arguello St. to Winslow St. Fuller St. from Warren St. to Winslow St. Bradford St. from Arguello to Winslow St. The Parade Route will be defined as starting at Winslow 51. and Brewster Ave. proceeding to Veterans Blvd., turning right into the South bound lanes of Veterans Blvd. to Main St., turning right onto Main St. to Marshall St., proceeding on Marshall St. to Arguello St., turning right onto Arguello St. and terminating at Alden Street.
