<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />PART ONE <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION <br />OF THE <br />WATER CIRCULATION PUMP STATIONS <br />A T MARLIN DRIVE <br /> <br />CDM will provide the services during construction of the North Channel and South Channel <br />Pump Stations as described in Tasks 1 through 5. The City will perform day.to-day on-site <br />inspection and will receive, track, file and distribute submittals, requests for infonnation, and <br />other correspondence from the Contractor. The City will receive, review, and approve Contractor <br />pay requests. <br /> <br />Task 1 - Preconstroction Conference <br />CDM will participate in a preconstruction conference with the Construction Contractor. Assist <br />the City in reviewing the Contractor's proposed construction schedule and identifyìng <br />construction management procedure and responsibilities. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Inqo.iries and Responses for Infonnation <br />Respond to inquiries and issue necessary interpretations and clarifications of the contract <br />documents, including provjding supplemental sketches, information and/or calculations as <br />requested by the City, and respond and/or assist the City in replying to the Contractor's requests <br />for information. <br /> <br />CDM will respond to an estimated six (6) inquiries and infonnation requests. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Review Shop Drawin~s <br />CDM will review and approve (or take other appropriate action in respect of) shop drawings and <br />samples and other data which Contractor is required to submit, but only for confonnance with <br />the infonnation gjven in the contract documents and compatibility with the design concept of the <br />completed project as a. functioning who]e as indicated in the contract documents. Such reviews <br />and approvals by CDM Or other action wiU not extend to means, methods, techniques, sequences <br />or procedures of construction or to safety precautions.
